GIVING ONLINE
LAC offers a variety of giving options so gifts can be handled in whatever manner is most convenient. In addition to the traditional Sunday offering baskets, you can give online by setting up electronic fund transfers, or by using your debit or credit card. We accept credit cards simply for convenience and do not encourage credit purchases of debt as a lifestyle.
The church is charged a minimal fee for checks and e-checks. The cost for the church for credit and debit cards is 3%. When giving through the portal (click "Make a Donation" below), you have the option to include funds to cover the church incurred fees for the convenience of online giving.

Why does LAC offer online giving?
As more people engage in the convenience of electronic payments, LAC has added several options for online giving to assist our donors.
Is the online giving process safe?
Yes. We have engaged the services of Elexio, which maintains the highest standards of controls for online giving and processing.
What payment methods are available for online giving?
LAC offers electronic fund transfers (EFT) from your checking or savings account and payments by debit or credit card.
Will I be assessed any fees with giving online?
No. The costs per transaction for transfers from checking and savings accounts are minimal. If you use a debit or credit card, the cost for the church is 3%.
What about the timing of online giving?
You will have an option to make one time gifts, weekly gifts, or monthly gifts. If you set up recurring gifts, you will be able to login to the system using your email and password, and make any desired changes online at any time before a scheduled transaction.
What funds may I give to?
General Fund, Great Commission Fund (Missions), Deacons Fund, and Capital Fund. We will also maintain a list of special fund options.
Does the church store my banking information?
The church does not see your online banking information. Forms authorizing the church to set up recurring donations are kept in a secure location.
If I give online, can I make other donations through the Sunday offerings?
Yes. Your gifts are gratefully received, whether they are in the form of cash, check, or online gifts.
Does online giving help the church more than cash or checks?
All gifts are welcome. Online giving reduces volunteer time required to process traditional giving through the offering plates. Online giving from checking or savings accounts save the church fees associated with debit and credit card transactions.
Can I view my donation history online?
Yes. When you login to Elexio Community under the MY LAC tab, the site will allow you to view your online contributions.
Will I still receive contribution statements from the church?
Yes. LAC will continue to send contributions statements by January 31st each year for tax purposes, which will include all electronic and traditional contributions. You can also print a statement at any time when you login to Elexio Community and click on the Giving tab.
