ABOUT US
ABOUT US
Together we are a community of Jesus followers. What does that mean, the word community? We believe that when we spend time together, learning about who Jesus is and what He does, and how that intersects with who we are and what we do, then share that with each other, we grow closer to one another. We become more like Jesus.
WHO WE ARE
OUR MISSION
Leading people to Jesus and His life-transforming work locally and around the world.
CORE VALUES
Leading people to Jesus means BEING PRESENT with Him.
Leading people to Jesus means BEING SURRENDERED to Him.
Leading people to Jesus means BEING OTHERS FOCUSED as He leads.
OUR HISTORY
SMALL BEGINNINGS
Lancaster Alliance Church (LAC) began as a house church and then moved to the corner of Euclid Avenue and Wabank Road in Lancaster.
In 1984, LAC moved to its current location at 210 Pitney Road. The church property grew with an addition in 1991 and remains the same fingerprint to this day.
OUR BELIEFS
There is one God. [1-3]
Jesus Christ is the true God and the true man. [4-11]
The Holy Spirit is a divine person. [12-14]
The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. [15]
Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God. [16-20]
Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God. [21]
It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly. [22-24]
Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the mortal body. [25-26]
The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. [27-28]
The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent.
