Jesus is true God and true man. He was sent by God the Father to sacrifice his life because sin, which separates us from God, requires a perfect sacrifice. Jesus became that sacrifice for each of us. He suffered because of his love for us. His death was the doorway to right standing with God. But he didn’t stay in the grave. He displayed his divinity by rising again. His resurrection is the promise of new and eternal life. He’s alive and seated at the right hand of God. He will come again to establish His kingdom.

Jesus has always been God's plan for redeeming us, a broken people, and he wants to be in relationship with us. When we trust in Jesus, his love covers us and gives us victory. This new life is about being present with Jesus, surrendered to him, and others focused as he leads. Don't be fooled by working harder or believing lies of not being good enough — Jesus is waiting for you.
