(MOMS AND TOTS THRIVING TOGETHER)
WELCOME TO MINIS & ME AT LANCASTER ALLIANCE CHURCH!
We invite all mothers either expecting a baby or mothers of young children (age birth through Kindergarten) to join us at Minis and Me!
Our members come from all different backgrounds, but this phase of life brings similar needs and a common shared desire - to be the best mothers we can be for the little ones God has given us. We know that He values motherhood and that mothers of preschoolers need a village to hold them up and surround them.
What to Expect:
• Meet 2 Tuesday mornings a month from 9-11:15AM
• Share a yummy breakfast together
• Hear from guest speakers, curated videos, and mentor moms
• Participate in occasional crafts
• Build relationships with other moms
• Dive into what God's word says about motherhood
• Enjoy community while our children have fun in our age-specific "Minis" program
• Small group & large group "activities" aka opportunities to talk and get to know each other
You will also receive support from a wonderful community of moms and mentor mamas in our Facebook group, which is open to registered members.
MINIS & ME 2024-2025 THEME
This coming year, our theme will be centered around the idea of being Rooted in Christ, his Word and his love. In Psalm chapter one, it says that blessed is the one who delights in the Law of the Lord and meditates on it day and night. They are like a tree that is planted by life giving water, they bear fruit and do not wither. The Word of the Lord is life giving and life sustaining, it is perfect and able to revive the soul (Psalm 19). In motherhood, it can be easy to overlook the value, and quite frankly the necessity of being planted by the living water; to be rooted in the Word of the Lord, and to abide in Him and Him alone. Our prayer for this year is that we as a community of mothers would be encouraged and challenged to pursue true life in Jesus and esteem Him above all else.

Minis & Me meets bi-weekly from 9-11:15AM in the Theater at Lancaster Alliance Church, September-May.

Is there a fee to join Minis & Me?
Yes! There is a registration fee of $100 for the whole year to join.
We want all moms to be able join Minis and Me so if the registration fee is a problem, please reach out. You can contact Liz Glanzer or Pastor Joe Burchill by calling the church at 717.397.1121 to inquire about a scholarship.
There is also be an option at the registration to contribute towards occasional crafts. Throughout the year we curate meaningful craft activities for our Moms to participate in and this will allow us to explore more relevant craft options and purchase better quality supplies. The suggested contribution of $5 is not required and all Moms will be able to participate in the crafts regardless of whether they were able to contribute or not.
What does the registration fee cover?
The registration fee covers a variety of benefits including:
• Quality child care/teachers for our "Minis"
• Speaker Gifts
• Various supply costs, like decorations, office costs and occasional activity supplies.
